Call for Speakers

ACTM invites speakers to submit proposals for innovative, engaging, and informative sessions for mathematics educators across Alabama.

All proposals must be submitted electronically. Late submissions may be considered only if space remains in the program.

Session Information

Speaker sessions will be held on November 5 and 6 as indicated on the proposal form. Sessions may be either regular sessions (50 minutes) or extended sessions (100 minutes).

Lunch will be on your own both days. Final sessions are tentatively scheduled to end at 3:30 PM each day.

Proposal Criteria

• Does the title and description clearly explain what attendees will learn?
• Does the session reflect current research and best practices in mathematics education, including technology when appropriate?
• Does the session address the needs of diverse learners?
• Does the session include audience participation?
• Is the session designed with ACTM members and Alabama mathematics educators in mind?

Membership Requirement

Speakers must be current ACTM members. Join ACTM .
