ACTM Classroom Grant Opportunity

The Alabama Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ACTM) invites educators to apply for classroom grants of up to $1,500 to support innovative and impactful mathematics learning experiences.

Award Amount: Up to $1,500

Submission Deadline: TBA

Award Announcement: ACTM Fall Forum (November)

Eligibility: Applicants must be current ACTM members.

ACTM grants are designed to fund projects that directly enhance students’ learning of mathematics, align with mathematics standards, and provide meaningful instructional impact.

Proposals may include hands-on learning experiences, mathematical manipulatives, student-centered instructional projects, and other resources that directly support student engagement and understanding in mathematics.

Educators at grade levels K–12 are encouraged to apply. Whether you are launching a new idea, expanding an existing project, or addressing a specific instructional need, ACTM grants aim to support teachers in bringing purposeful and engaging mathematics learning to students.

Funding Priority: Projects that clearly demonstrate a connection to student mathematics learning, standards alignment, and thoughtful implementation.
